Professional Development Committee
Professional Development Committee is a globally represented committee which oversees STEP’s mission to educate professionals and promote high professional standards through its professional development programmes.
This includes the production of STEP’s qualifications such as its Certificates and Diplomas, and training programmes such as The Informed Trustee. The Committee also supports the Employer Partnership Programme, the Academic Community, the development of STEP’s university partnerships and activities underpinning the continuing professional development of STEP’s members. A key priority for the committee is to shape qualifications and training in STEP regions which meet local needs, and raises the profile of STEP education and membership.
Meetings are held four times per year, usually in February, May, July and October. The timings of the meetings are rotated to reflect competing time zones.
