Rejoining STEP

Coming back to STEP!

If you have been a Member of STEP in the past but your membership has lapsed, you can apply to rejoin and gain all the benefits that being a member has to offer.

How to rejoin

  • If your membership lapsed within the last two years, you are not required to formally rejoin. To reinstate your membership please contact the STEP office at step@step.org or telephone +44 (0)20 3752 3700.

Or,

  • If it has been more than two years since you have been a member, please complete the Rejoining application form and return via email to the STEP office along with a current CV/resume detailing your work in the profession since your membership lapsed.

The process

All rejoining application forms are assessed by the Membership Team at STEP and the appropriate background checks performed.

For applications for Full or Associate membership these are also assessed by the Membership Assessment Panel who meet once a month. Please allow up to six weeks for approval.

For applications for Affiliate membership please allow up to two weeks for approval.

Fees

Rejoining STEP requires payment for the current year’s membership subscription, plus a rejoining administration fee.
