STEP announces Private Client Awards Finalists for 2024

Friday, 21 June 2024

The global membership body STEP has today announced the shortlist for the 2024 Private Client Awards (PCA). The judges have chosen 69 firms and 15 individuals as being of the high standard needed to win a PCA.

This year saw a record number of entries, with 373 submissions.

The Awards, which STEP founded in 2006, celebrate excellence in private client practice. They are widely seen as a hallmark of quality in the global industry. Categories were open to law firms, accountancy firms, trust companies, financial advisors, multi-family offices and boutique advisory services.

Multiple firms made the shortlist in more than one category. Affinity Private Wealth, Carey Olsen, Collas Crill, Dolce Vita Advisors, Evelyn Partners, Farrer & Co, Garrioch & Ellse, Herbert Smith Freehills, Macfarlanes, Ocorian, Ogier, Saffery Trust, Schellenberg Wittmer, Stephenson Harwood, Stonehage Fleming and Telic Advisory are nominated for two awards.

Baker McKenzie, Boodle Hatfield, Kith & Kin Law Corporation, Lenz & Staehelin and NIKA LAW are nominated for three, while Forsters is shortlisted for an impressive six awards!

STEP’s Chief Executive Mark Walley said:

‘We are pleased to see the breadth and depth of the record entries for this year’s awards from right across the globe. It demonstrates the value of the Private Client Awards to the industry, and we are truly celebrating the very best in innovation, commitment and hard work. Huge congratulations to all our finalists. The PCAs are a highlight of my year. I look forward to congratulating the winners in September.’

Chair of the Presiding Judges Stella Mitchell-Voisin TEP said:

‘The judges were delighted to see so many entries this year from such a wide range of organisations and individuals from 28 countries across the globe. The judging was challenging this year with such a high standard of submissions. With this in mind, the firms and individuals that have made the shortlist should be incredibly proud!’

Our host, broadcaster and author Susie Dent, will announce the winners at an awards ceremony on 19 September at the Hilton Hotel on Park Lane in London, UK.

This year’s sponsors are Evelyn Partners, Katten, Loeb & Loeb, Penningtons Manches Cooper, Pilanz and Rathbones.

STEP is proud to be partnering this year again with Alzheimer’s Disease International (ADI). ADI is the international federation of Alzheimer and dementia associations worldwide, representing over 120 countries globally.

As the STEP Private Client Awards charity partner, donations will allow ADI to invest in its members, raise awareness and in turn help the charity to reach even more people living with dementia worldwide.
